Happy Holiday-that-you-celebrate Day!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful time together! I just want to say that this year has been a whirlwind, and I couldn't have gotten through it without you. Project TOY was a success (in my book, not by everyone else's book), which is awesome, considering the fact that this was my first game! This year, up to this date, the game has received 69 total downloads across the websites and platforms.

There might be a problem, however.

With school and all the other things I have going on in the background, I will have to slow production on all of the games that I am currently working on--The Doll Movement and When Rain Ceases. I'm not too worried about When Rain Ceases, but The Doll Movement is something I need to worry about. I have finished sketching the second hub world and all of its dungeons, including where and/or when dolls are going to spawn. For When Rain Ceases, I'm almost finished with the base of the script, which is bound to change 50 million times before I'm ready to release the game.

Don't worry, though! I have taken a break from both to spend time with my family, as this is the last Christmas I'll be having in Utah. I will film a vlog about it and what I got, so look out for that either today or tomorrow!

Merry Christmas to all, and to all that don't celebrate it, Happy whatever-you-celebrate Day!

Update on TDM Website

There has been an update on the TDM website, for those of you who don't check that site regularly.

Also, all of the games and their current status is posted on the Games page in the Pages section.

Have a good day/night!

Yet Another Game!

I am working on yet another game! It is called Hard Life, and it's in conjunction with S Advanced Technologies. Click here to find out more about them!

Wish me luck!!!

Important Update

I have some bad news...

Development for The Doll Movement and When Rain Ceases are both on hiatus currently. My family is moving to Washington state this summer, so we're rushing to get our house ready for an open house in the spring, then leaving Utah on a 12-hour drive to wherever we end up moving in Washington. I also need to focus on school and skating more, especially since I'm trying to get into the Age-Group Nationals in Short Track Speed Skating this year and I'm going to the OAKE National Choir Conference in March. The point is that my life is too busy currently to develop full-time, and I doubt I'll even get to develop part-time for a while...

But I have an idea currently in-motion.

I have now acquired an artist for The Doll Movement. She is an old friend of mine, and she does wonderful artwork. I have also created a page for both The Doll Movement and FFVD Games on YUNOÏA so I can find more people to help me out with what I want to do with this series. I have also come into contact with a mo-cap (motion-capture) studio in California called House of Moves, so there may or may not be some cool stuff coming into the game...

I'm not dead!

Hello, all!

I know, I know, this site and my YouTube channel have both been inactive for quite a while now. School and other activities have stolen basically all of my spare time to do things. Fortunately, I still had enough to make a thread for The Doll Movement! It's open to all things that relate to the series and the questions that I pose to you guys.

In other news, Project TOY is inching closer and closer to 100 downloads. 100! For a first game! That isn't even super long or good, but is still interesting! That I'm going to improve! Yay!!!

Also, the rain will come #soon... ;)

(See what I did there? Please notice me, Scott... Or anyone big...)

Social Media

I have finally set up a YouTube channel and a Twitter page for FFVD Games!

The YouTube channel will host all of the trailers, developer play throughs, etc. of my games and Let's Plays of other games, along with a few vlogs. It's been live for a while, but I couldn't monetize it sooner since I was busy with... things...

The Twitter page will host updates about my games and advertise my YouTube channel, along with some other... things...

Those... things... are yet to be announced. For now, just keep guessing. Not that you would get it right, but it doesn't hurt to try, right? Right!?

As I said in a video that is soon to-be-published, I am releasing a few songs relatively soon, along with... things...

That's all I have so far. Have a great day/night!

P.S. I have a new logo.

Beta Progress/Big Announcement

Hello, all

I am happy to say that beta tests for Project TOY have been successful, with (surprisingly) little errors. Because of that, Project TOY will be released on Gamejolt and IndieDB on May 18th.

Thank you to all of my beta testers and to those who support my first game!

Thanks!

Thank you to everyone that signed up for the Project TOY beta! If you didn't sign up, you can still play the full version this summer.

Project TOY

I am happy to say that Project TOY is nearly finished. As I wasn't expecting to say that this early, Project TOY beta sign-ups will close within the next couple of weeks, so make sure that you're signed up before it's too late!

Beta Testing

I am now accepting beta testers for Project TOY. The game is almost complete, but school will get in the way, so I'll try to release the beta in May 2016. You can sign up on the official Project TOY page by using the email widget there and typing in the message bar "Project TOY beta". You must provide your name and email so I can get to you with the beta.

EDIT: Make sure you put what grade you're in (in the American system (1st grade, 9th grade, etc.)) or what age you are so I can get a demographic of who's interested in Project TOY. None of the information that you tell me will be disclosed to anyone; I even won't tell my siblings or my parents since that info is very private.

Updates

I will be making regular updates to the Project T.O.Y. page from now on, approximately two weeks apart from each other.

For those who want one, I am giving away copies for the Project T.O.Y. tech demo, which will be played on Herocrafter Gaming Central (kudos to you on the theory). The amount of copies being given away is yet to be decided, but it will happen sometime before Q3 2016.

Just wanted to catch up with y'all!

-Michael Shaw, Manager/Founder of FFVD Games, Creator and Developer of Project T.O.Y.
